Terwijl Shiba Inu Coin meer risico en mogelijke beloning biedt door zijn volatiliteit en speculatieve aard, biedt Tether een stabielere waarde en minder risico. Shiba Inu Coin kan aantrekkelijk zijn voor investeerders die op zoek zijn naar hoge rendementen en bereid zijn grotere risico’s te nemen, terwijl Tether meer geschikt is voor diegenen die hun waarde willen behouden en de volatiliteit van de cryptomarkt willen vermijden.
De prijs van SHIB steeg in mei 2021, kort nadat het door de crypto exchange Bina nce was toegevoegd. De vraag van gebruikers was enorm. Destijds tweette de CEO van Binance, genaamd Changpeng Zhao, dat het een ongekend succes was. Wel liet hij direct weten dat het kopen van een meme-coin een groot risico is.

For example, if users A and B are disagreeing on whether an incoming transaction is valid, a hard fork could make the transaction valid to users A and B, but not to user C.

Almost 74% of ransomware revenue in 2021 — over $400 million worth of cryptocurrency — went to software strains likely affiliated with Russia, where oversight is notoriously limited. However, Russians are also leaders in the benign adoption of cryptocurrencies, as the ruble is unreliable, and President Putin favours the idea of “overcoming the excessive domination of the limited number of reserve currencies.”
